Hilary Torres, MA, EdS, APC

Associate Professional Counselor

Hilary has received her Bachelor's Degree from The University of Memphis with a major in Psychology. After graduation, she was a case manager at a non-profit organization in Nashville, Tennessee, where she helped low-income individuals with social security, food insecurity, job applications/interviews, and living to their full potential, mentally, physically, and spiritually. Next Hilary got to spend time in Europe in her early twenties. Hilary got to explore diverse cultures and enjoy different foods while traveling. Once she returned to the states, she was busy with her two beautiful girls and enjoying motherhood. Due to life circumstances, Hilary went back to school and received her teaching certification for grades PreK-5th grade and taught 2nd grade. Then she pursued a Masters in School Counseling from Liberty University. Hilary has been a school counselor for 6 years. She enjoys guiding the youth and being a safe place for anyone who walks through her door and confides in her. Hilary decided to continue her education and pursue her Educational Specialist Degree from Valdosta State University. She then had a desire and passion to become a community based therapist. Hilary began her journey to become a LPC (licensed professional counselor) in 2024. It is Hilary's purpose and mission to equip the next generation with coping skills to navigate the storms of life. Hilary provides a welcoming environment with a nonjudgmental and confidential atmosphere. Hilary will open her session with prayer and close her session with prayer and point her clients to the cross and to Jesus Christ through using God's Word, the Bible.
